i wanted one until i shot one. What changed your mind? i already had a 22mag and wasn't impressed at all by the 17
I loved my .17, but once they started making ballistic tips for the 22 mag, I got rid of the 17.

Got a hankering for for a new "fun" gun. Anybody shoot one?
Pros or cons? X2 and what should i expect to spend?
For a fun gun, you can get a synthetic/blue Marlin at walmart for less than $250. Add optics and bases/rings. Ammo is between $13 and $20 per 50 most places.
