de novo, there is big difference between car insurance and health insurance. You don't have to own/drive a car. The choice isn't there when it comes to health insurance. Even if you're wealthy, either buy some health insurance or get fined.

The issue is what do you believe the govt can tell you to do. If you believe the govt can force you to by auto insurance for the good of the other drivers then its not a huge stretch to force you to buy health insurance for the sake of the other insured Americans. Unfortunately, we don't get just a little govt control.

I shouldn't have to wear a seatbelt as long as bikers are on the road. PERIOD

So yeah car insurance and health insurance are intrusions, especially since I have never had a claim in almost 30 yrs. I want a refund dang it.

I guess the world would tilt off its axis if auto ins wasnt required. Heck half the time the cash from an auto claim goes in somebodies pocket anyway. Its BS.

"The issue is what do you believe the government can tell you to do." What? It doesn't matter what someone thinks in this instance. You're gonna pay for health insurance whether you like it or not.
