No link, but really want to know if anyone has heard anything like what I just had a co-worker tell me. Granted, this is just heresay at this point so don't jump down my throat. I had a guy tell me that he went to H&R Block to get his taxes done, and the lady there told him, that, starting next year, he will have to provide proof of health ins, or will be assessed a penalty?! Is it starting now? Is this how the govt is going to assess the penalty for not conforming to Obamacare, thru the IRS? IF, this is so, then I know some folks that will be in dire straights I believe.

Part of the plan to enforce ObamaCare was though the IRS, it's been in there since day one. I've always known it.
Don't you all remember talking about how they are going to hire more workers to take up the ObamaCare case load.

And on top of that I confirmed the penalty for not having obamacare is "per person" not per taxpayer etc... For examaple, a family of four will have a tax penalty x 4... Roughly 20,000.00 penalty per year. Possibly more.
I can't begin to think of how many problems this is going to create.

Ask John Roberts- it's a tax. The IRS will be involved every step of the way. Part of Obamacare was initially hiring nearly 40,000 new IRS employees to implement Obamacare.

I thought osamacare was for the good of all and that everybody was going to get free insurance - (and of course an ObamaPhone)?! How could anybody NOT have insurance under the kings plan????

It will be taxable income before it's done. All of it. What you pay AND what the company pays.
I tried to tell one man that was voting for Obama because he was making it possible for him to afford healthcare that he would afford it alright. He would buy private, get a job that offered it or pay a sizable fine. He thought it would be inexpensive and I told him he would be surprised. I guess he is now. His gov't healthcare is going to be more than he bargained for. Did I mention he has 3 kids? Love his heart. Another of the misinformed.
