Back in the late 90s, a friend gave me a worn out VHS copy of a film made in 1976 called "Heartworn Highways." The idea behind the film was to show the new face of country music at the time and featured Townes Van Zant, Guy Clark, David Allan Coe driving his own tour bus, a 17 year old Steve Earle, Charlie Daniels, Larry Jon Wilson, Steve Young, Rodney Crowell among others. It was a great film that captured some absolutely amazing content and candid moments, however it was a commercial failure, never made it to the theater and was out of print for years. Finally there was a DVD release a few years ago and now it has been digitally remastered and available for download.

Here is the tailer. I highly recommend checking this film out.
It doesn't have to be fun to be fun.

Wild & crazy, can't be stopped. Only the strong will survive.
