Just got to see Air Force One take off from Minneapolis airport. The motorcade pulled up with black SUV's and cops everywhere. They boarded, fired up the plane, pulled out into the runway and took off. They had the whole runway to themselves. From the time the motorcade arrived to the time the plane was in the air took about 5 minutes. Pretty cool, even though I don't like the guy on the plane.

I once got to circle the Atlanta airport on a flight for longer that it took to fly there in order for Air Force Two to land...
My brush with beltway politicians...not too exciting.

My brush with beltway politicians...not too exciting.
Same thing happened to me! We circled ATL for what felt like forever, only it was AF1.

That almost happened to us today, but the pilot got on the intercom when we left Dallas and said we were going to fly faster than normal to try to beat the President to the runway. Mission accomplished. The Presidential motorcade showed up on the tarmac a few minutes after we arrived and deplaned at Minneapolis.

I saw Cheney land in Jackson Hole a couple times. Pretty neat.

did the plane have spinners wheels or DUBS. I wonder if the radio could be heard from in the airport.
Lol....I did not hear any bass thumping through the airport windows. However, I think I saw them load some golf clubs on the plane.
