This group of does came by me in my backyard. The last doe was a big doe and someone had shot her in the hamstring. She was having trouble keeping up. The area that was injured looked to be the size of a football. I just can't imagine shooting a deer in that area. I guess she will die this summer from infection. I wish people were more sure of their aim.

I hate to see deer like that and it is sad to know that there are some who don't care about the animal enough to try their best and make every shot the best it can be.

I understand that, just saying that some hunters could care less and that's a fact.

Sure, but we have no way of passing judgement on said deer, anything could have happened? A hunter may not even be to blame here???

right, some hunters could care less about a wounded animal. But I care, and I hate wounding, and I have wounded a few deer in my life. Do I feel bad, yes. Sometimes we just make mistakes.
Does this mean I don't care about the deer?

wasn't passing judgement on said deer or hunter, just making statement that sadly is true sometimes.
