I don't usually buy a gun without researching first, but.... I ended up trading some stuff this weekend, for a Ruger M77 MarkII .300 WSM .. Stainless/Synthetic. The gun is used, but immaculate condition.

Now that its in my possession, I've read when a trigger job is an absolute must but easy to do..

Anyone own one? Opinions? I may keep it, or I may try to trade up & put a little cash toward a Kimber 8400 that I really wanted...

Best solution for my M77 was a Timney adjustable trigger. I love it, and I didn't take a chance on messing up my factory trigger! Awesome guns!!

i've just ordered some trigger springs for my m77s
they're supposed to take 1-1 1/2 lbs off the trigger pull without any polishing or stoning
i'm kinda anxious to see how it turns out
they did wonders for my brownings
