Drove by the field in front of the wooded ridge I hunt and there were at least two dozen deer browsing around it.
Looks as though I have a good crop to start next year with. I know of 11 deer that were killed this off that ridge and surrounding area this past season. Apparently, that did not make a dent in the population.
I killed six off my other property and I know that did not phase them. As far as I know, that is all that got killed there. I am the only one that hunts it.
God knows how many turkeys we will have come spring.

Assuming you are talking about somewhere near your house,it is amazing how many deer live around that area.
