So tired of hearing about Ray Lewis and his "speeches". Hope 49ers put it on him and shut him up.

Anyone see the SNL last week about Lewis on there. If not here it is.

Suggs and Ed Reed are playmakers on defense.

Then there's the offense. Joe Flaco, Ray Rice, Anquan Boldin, etc.

Who needs Ray Lewis?

Yeah, who needs Ray?

5th most tackles on the team during the regular season - one behind Reed, 35 ahead of Suggs - while missing 9 games due to a torn tricep. Pitiful.

44 tackles in the postseason, almost double the 2nd most prolific Raven, Ellerbe. Compared to Suggs' 19 and Reed's 10. Slacker.

Who calls defensive adjustments on the field? Ray.

Who's the acknowledged leader on the team? Lewis.

Nah, who needs him.

Call him all the names you want....that joker can flat out play some football. And again I am sure everyone would call him these above names to his face. I don't mind it, I just think face to face you probably would choose words better.

I dont respect him as a person, but as a player I give credit where it is due.

Murder. Amazing what money can do.
Why pay money to families if you're not guilty???

Lewis plead guilty to obstruction of justice,(for originally giving a misleading statement), the murder charges against him were dropped. His 2 companions were later acquitted of murder. Sounds like they didn't have a very good case against him or his companions.

I'm not privy to the evidence or details of the case, therefore can't judge him or his thugness. Great football player, IMO.

I hear yea Rem, but with that said, the Ravens reminded me of the Giants few years back, they got the momentom in the playoffs and took it to the house. Does get old hearing him sometimes for me too.

Ray Lewis is as good as it gets as a linebacker, heck you have got to say this he has proven it on the field, off the field I'm not sure he is as squeeky clean as he tries to apiere.

He is going to become a commentator..I guess he is innocent until proven guilty.
Found this on the web.

“I covered the Ray Lewis murder trial with a team of Sun reporters. After a couple of days of the state’s presentation, I described the prosecution as “sputtering” and having “fizzled,” but that was kind. The prosecution was awful. There was no evidence that Lewis killed anyone during the infamous closing-time brawl outside the Cobalt Lounge on East Paces Ferry Road in the Buckhead entertainment section of Atlanta, after Super Bowl XXXIV. Witness testimony against him was thin, contradictory and confusing.

“In fact, there was more evidence that Lewis had tried to stop two men in his partying entourage from engaging in the fight that resulted in the stabbing deaths of Baker and Lollar.”

This whole murder stuff confuses me. According to the above post, there's evidence that Lewis tried to stop the stabbings? I'm under the impression that there was never anyone convicted in the murders, yet it's obvious that Lewis knows who did it, and Lewis is a free man? Wow. Had that been any one of us, we'd be in the clink praying we don't drop the soap. I'm trying to wrap my head around the media wanting to hire this guy, knowing he's been protecting a murderer for over a decade. What the heck is wrong with people?

Me and Boomer can agree on that. The people who think Ray wasn't guilty of at least 2nd degree murder are the same idiots that think OJ didn't do it. Money got him off! I've always heard about karma, but I don't believe in that crap anymore.
