Awesome fish. I love seeing someone who enjoys catching whatever bites. I won't forget my first longnose gar. Would like to catch a Muskie and some nicer trout like that. And that's a nice mess of sauger.

Thanks everyone! IMO Brook Trout have got to be the prettiest sport fish out there.
Yep, Catman, at that moment when I reel in a fish, it is my favorite fish, love fishing, have my whole life (in fact I started so young, I have no idea what my first fish was--I'm guessing bluegill though). And come fish below Center Hill Dam sometime, and you may get a bigger trout for sure. Also, that sauger made one fantastic meal!!! I had to get a guide for the muskie though.

Brook trout sure are pretty. We dont have em here though. I think one of the prettiest fish around here is the longear sunfish, during the summer when they are on the bed.
The northern studfish is also a real pretty fish -

I have heard of the big trout below center hill. Oh and if I were given a free guide trip, I would go, but would rather catch my first muskie on my own. Oh yeah, Longear's are a pretty fish for sure. Many others out there are too, like many of the darter species, such as the rainbow, of course most people don't catch these or studfish on rod and reel.

I've caught many fish there as well: I'll never forget one day, a friend and I combined about 7 or sauger, 1 catfish, 1 largemouth bass, a few white and yellow bass, bluegill, and not to mention a couple of drum....crazy day, but fun!!!
I've seen many deer run from the waters edge from there.

Oh it's a blast! You've almost gotta know exactly where they are at though. That one is my one and only. I had another slam a crankbait though, but it hit so hard I thought for sure I caught part of the bridge so only gave it half of a hook set, so it got off.
