If you were to buy 20 fruit trees for the wildlife, as well as for us to eat, what would they be? I'm looking for specifics within these breeds. We are looking to get roughly 5 apples, 5 peach, 5 pears, and 5 cherry......but what specifics within these types? We want the deer, turkey, and US to enjoy.

Persimmons must only be eaten by deer in certain areas. One of the places I hunt has 4-5 persimmon trees at the corner of a field and creek and the deer just don't mess with them. The coons eat them like crazy thou!

We have plenty of persimmons, sawtooth oak, etc....

I'm just talking about fruit trees, but not just "fruit trees".....I'm wanting to know specifically which kind of peach trees, apple trees, pear trees. Their are many different varieties within each fruit. I know nothing about that stuff. Preferably some that are typically late bloomers. I have planted plenty that are native to Florida and they bloom in February, then of course it freezes again and it doesn't produce anything that year. I'd like to avoid those types \:\)

A good peach tree is the Belle Georgia peach tree or the hale haven tree. With pears all I know is the warren pear tree.

Here is what I ordered this week for my property. I'll find out in a couple years how well they worked out. The pear/apple trees are 4 to 5 feet tall when ordered.

Bartlett Pear Trees
Clapp's Favorite Pear Trees
Braeburn Apple Trees
Gala Apple Trees
American Persimmon
Brigitta Blueberry
Apache Thornless Blackberry
Arapho Thornless Blackberry

When ordering my biggest questions were making sure they would cross pollinate.
