Has anyone tryed center hill Dam lately and what are they catching up their. I have heard that they opened the sluiced gate is that a good thing or bad thing for fishing. I think will go down their one of these days and try to catch some nice fish. Some advice will be hopeful. Thanks and keep warm

Heading up there tomorrow. The wife just started at the dam and said there are guys fishing all the time. As for the sluice gate, I'm not sure.
Anyone know how much turbulence is right above the dam (lake side) when they are generating /open sluice gates? My buddy told me to sit next to the dam and drop a line straight down.
Ill post up how I do.

Salmon Eggs. Pautzke's Balls of fire always work well below the dam. You can get them at Wal-Mart.

I work there 3-4 days a week, didnt see many people fishing today but last week they were lifting alot of trout out of there. Tailwater was at like 487 at 0400 this morning if Im remembering correctly. JandS, your wife must be C.N?
