If i were you, since your not much on savages, i would wait until Remington or ruger produced one. Invest several hundred more dollars in a stock, have it floated and glass bedded, and match grade ammo.
Then i would wander why the stock savage was still as much if not more accurate.

I didn't say they wouldn't shoot good .I just think they're ugly no offense to whoever has one .

I dont buy rifles to look good they are a tool, ill buy the savage.
I dont think they are ugly personally, they look like any other rifle.
