You can buy a nice unit by Flicr for about $1,800.00. It can detect a 4 second handprint on the wall for about 6 minutes after the hand was removed.

I can't afford night vision or thermal imaging but, if I could I'd like to have thermal to use on the lakes at night in the fog.
I wonder too if they would be legal to view wildlife WITHOUT a weapon in the vehical?
