You will find a much higher deer density in Hickman County, but still lots of ridge-and-hollow hardwoods (probably steeper than most of Macon County). But for whatever reason,Hickman County does grow some impressive bucks. Very good buck age structure in much of the county.
And by the way, I think I now the organic farm you are talking about. Many of clients are in Hickman, so I know the county (at least the northern half) fairly well.
Well that certainly didn't help me not get my hopes up .
I work with a young lady, and we started talking yesterday and deer came up. She mentioned her families farm and how deer were killing it and I mentioned that I LOVE deer hunting. So just waiting to make sure its okay with her father, but I offered money to hunt it and she just wants the deer population lowered and some meat to eat.
I would love to stick a big one and as many does as they want.
