ATF.... had a full-auto stolen, three people charged by mistake (one was in prison on the day he supposedly sold them drugs), rented premises trashed, and a landlord-tenant dispute with their landlord. Oh, and a real "buy-back." Among the guns they bought was one that was stolen from the premises.

Hey now, don't forget Obama is using them for his war on the Second Amendment.

Let's hope they are just as competent at that as they are on gun buy-back 'stings'...

Funny thing about libs... they'd rather go down in flames due to their own incompetence rather than admit they did something wrong or entertain the idea of another approach. Just look at our schools.

Better question - is there a competent federal government agency? So long as government agencies are not held accountable to the same rules, regulations, and standards of private industry, NO.
And it's not just government agencies, but almost everything about government is inefficient, wasteful, and failing.
As an example, can you imagine what would happen to the CEO of a Fortune 500 Company if he and his executive were required to produce an annual budget for the company, yet just shrugged their shoulders, and didn't? Remember what happened at Enron when they "cooked the books"? Massive Debt?
One of the requirements of a Presidential administration is to produce an annual budget for our country. Obama and the democratic-controlled Senate have now gone 4 years without producing an annual budget, as required by law. This is gross negligence by any accounting standard.
The same actions that would land a corporate CEO and his executive team in prison go without consequence when they're done by our President, 100 Senators, and Congress ---- as the "management" of the United States.

That's all they have done all though history. Just look at the USSR.
