I can kind of see where you're coming from in this article. The jist of which it really doesn't matter if things are banned they're still going to be had. And that if you really felt the need to own a high cap mag or a spooky black rifle - then you'd just get one. And I hope that is really what you're meaning. Because if not then you are WAAAAAAY off base with your logic. This complacent attitude of I really don't care what rights get taken away from others as long as it doesn't affect be directly is grossly wrong.
Shall not be infringed means just that - shall not be infringed.
I really hope you didn't publish that article.

i disagree about not arming teachers. i am a teacher and have shot more rounds that most cops and military personnel. you just cant put any ol joe in a school to interact with kids. and unlike cops and most military personnel, teachers have to have at a minimum a bachelors degree (most have masters, or Eds) and pass a battery of tests and due asupervised internship (student teaching and practicum) before they are thrust into a school environment.

Having dealt with the Mainstream Media for years, that article will be vivisected and replayed, to show that 'Hunters" do not care about keeping their semiautomatic weapons.
We had better all listen to the song leader and get on the same page, or they are going to have us defending our homes with rocks.
It is already illegal for you to use a club in Tennessee as a defensive tool, you can not carry one with your for defense, much less a firearm or knife. Your paid for Handgun Carry Permit is simply a defense against prosecution, and is that is at the discretion of your local DA.
As long as the police have semis and large capacity magazines, it is my right in Tennessee to have them.
