I wouldn't wish that stuff on my worst enemy. I've been sick for 9 days now with vomiting and diarrhea. Been to the doctor three times and had three IV's for fluid. Finally found out today it is Salmonella. On antibiotics now hoping this will clear up soon. Got a hamburger steak at a local OutBack that was very pink in the middle and dummy me ate it. That WONT happen again.
I got it when I was about 10 years old. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
But when I was diagnosed, we racked our brains trying to figure out what it could've been....especially since I ate the same thigns as everyone else in the family.
The MD said that salmonella can have up to a 28 day incubation period, and unless you bit down on a raw chicken, it's nearly impossible to pionpoint what you may have received it from. I don't believe steak is a salmonella source.

I camped out on the couch for 2 weeks, as well. Had a puke bucket by the couch, one by the toilet, and one in between the two. NOT fun...

Raw Hamburger meat is and I had a very rare hamburger steak.

I always order my burgers well done. Pink will always be sent back. Never had issues with rare steak, but I won't chance burger.

If not for the three IV's of fluids I probably would have. :-)

If it hadn't been carry out it would have went back. Never again on burger.

Sending food back might be worse than the Salmonella. There are some twisted people working in restaurant kitchens.
