The inspired Word of God is the only authority we have in making decisions in Body of Christ. Who do people think they are when they sit down and decide to add to and take away from it. I guess when you worship after man made doctorine any thing is possible. This is why the Bible says to have Elders at each congregation to look over the flock. You don't have world headquaters where a few men decide what a few million are going to believe. My prayer is that folks will open their Bible and see if what they are doing is in the scriptures.

Thats terriable I guess my son will not be joining scouts.
This is the goal of the liberals in our nation. They want to end any entity in our country that espouses Biblical principles and teaches our children. The Scouts are on that list of groups that must be brought down by political correctness..

The sad thing is my wife is Methodist and has tried to get me to join her church and I have never felt good when I visited hers. This might have a lil to do with that gut feeling I had. I just hope this will open her eyes to what the Methodist are really about, maybe not the common church goers, but the ones making the "policies" for the masses to " follow "

This really gives me the creeps. The Methodist Church used to be a fine organization. How could they have gone so wrong. Over the last years as a church it has become some kind of strange, unwelcoming place to Christians. The so-called leaders should be removed from their positions and a re-birth put in place only I don't know if it is possible. How very sad and at the same time very creepy weird. I guess it goes to show you how far you can fall.

I don't believe on judgement day anyone is gettin a free pass because someone else told them that's what the Bible says.Study to show thy self approved unto God rightly dividing the Word of Truth. That goes for all of us. People would be suprised how much of what they have been taught is found no where in the Bible.
