What is that material? It looks pretty cool!
How is the draw? That always seemed like a problem with those slim profile holsters, but I've never used one.

It's ABS, pretty much Kydex. I cut the grip out more to help my fingers pull the gun out but it keeps my trigger safe.
The draw is actually really smooth and fast. Since i'm going to do leather on the other side only side of the gun will (lock) in to the plastic and other other will slide on the leather. My test fit with thin leather was great. I'm going to get roughly 1/4" thick leather for the backing and it should slide just as easy as the thin leather I tried with.
Much better concealing then a store bought one I had.

.060 ABS stats show it's pretty much the same thing as Kydex but half the price. Kydex is the name brand of the expensive stuff.

I would love to have one form fitted for my Taurus PT140 slim. I'd like to have one that kept the top of the slide from mashing into my side. Man, you ought to think about doing a side business.

I never thought of that. I know alot of people carry concealed but I thought I was just a tight wade that didn't want to spent $50 on 1 holster lol I can make one for anybody that wants one.
I will post a pic of the one I finish today. I have the leather as tall as the slide so it doesn't rub against my back. I would just need the gun to press the mold of the gun. I didn't buy any model guns, i'v done mine with my actual gun for the form molding.
I could mold that gun pretty easily.
