Woke up at 2:30 this morning and could not breathe. Had a power outage and the c pap machine quit working. Security system alarm goes off, phone rings and the the security company tells us the fire department has been notified because of high carbon monoxide levels in the house. Dogs are going crazy, firemen show up and we get to watch the storm go by. All is good but not the wake up call I wanted. Ya'll stay safe today.

Your C-Pap triggers an alarm? I don't know much about them, but this sounds pretty complex. Glad you were alright.

No the power outage triggered the alarm and killed the power to the c pap machine.

Thought the wife had a pillow over my face at first. LOL!!!

Check into getting one like we had for Papaw. It kicked over to battery power if the power surged or went out.

According to the fireman the power outage caused the carbon monoxide detector to sound the alarm. Plan on replacing the batteries in the detector to be safe.
