Tornado warning happening at the house now, wife is in the closet and Kids are at school. Sirens going off and the take cover now message on the weather alert. Lord I hate that helpless feeling! Gonna be a long day I have a feeling.

Interestingly, it was in Cookeville that our youth group took shelter on the 13th when the last wave of tornadoes were blowing around the state. Holed up at First Christian Church, where my buddy ministers, and dumped off a whole busload of teenagers for an hour.
Glad things turned out fine for you and yours!

Yep, looks like Rome, Cartersvill and that area are getting hit hard. Bad day for AL, GA and Tennessee right now....

A tornado was caught on film as it formed in Adairsville Ga about 1 hour ago just before it crossed I-75. Tossed a few cars as it crossed, I-75 in that area is closed.

One confirmed fatality in Adairsville, my co-workers cousin is missing from Adairsville. looks bad. She worked at the Phamacy there and it took a direct hit.

I sure hate to hear that. I just ate at Zaxbys in Adairsville a couple weeks ago.
