when I first got addicted to internet hunting sites, and was unaware of what was out there I found and joined a site called Deerhuntingchat.com. just out of curiosity I went on there tonight. the place is a ghost town, but they actually had forums for each individual state, for example a forum named "Tennessee deer Hunting".

I went in and there was a role call thread that was started in 2005 by a guy I know named Doc Holladay and sure enough some familiar screen names on in that thread. Pretty funny to see them and realize they are on this site. In fact someone over there told me about TNdeer.

how did ya'll come to find and join the site?

A guy at work showed me a deer he killed.
It was in the tndeer trophy room.

I bought a new house in 1999 and bought a computer and got online.
It was the first site I went to.

As they say, the rest is history. \:D

Searching the internet for anything I could find about deerhunting. I was 16 years old when I first joined. Lost my login info for awhile and signed up again in 03 as Bad_bowtie.

I probably read TN Deer 4 or 5 years before I became a member. I believe I was a member a few yrs before my date now but I posted a couple times because my life was too busy back then. Didn't remember my name or password so I finally had time and become a full member.

Since then I have pissed several UT fans off and met a few that know I'm only having fun. I have learned a lot and met some great people..... \:\)

Can we change my date to 2002.... \:D

I was looking for information about deer hunting and had some questions. I didn't get flamed (not even for my generic user name) so I stayed around. My wife half jokingly calls TNDEER my church.
