I got into deer hunting and found this site probably via a google search while researching hunting on the internet.... first post was asking about Yanahli WMA. a year later I killed my first deer ever on the same WMA. Then the following year I killed 10 deer in a season. Tndeer has been very helpful and there are also some very good people on here. I have made some friends on here where I otherwise would not have known many hunters at all, because I got into hunting myself and most of my friends don't hunt. Also my first bow buck would have likely been a loss if not for a member here who knew more about tracking deer than I did. And people have worked on my bow for me and helped me with advice in person and on the forum. Too much good to say about the site, it outweighs any jerk causing trouble on here which happens occasionally but the mods do a great job keeping it a friendly site.

just a little ad in the knoxville news sentinel classifieds that said "deer hunters wanted. tndeer.com". having just lost access to all the bowater land, i was hoping it was somewhere new to hunt.it turned out to be much more. my actual date that i signed in is a bit earlier than displayed. whole lot different back then.

I was in college in computer class and was bored one day and did a search for Tennessee deer hunting best I remember. I didn't get on here much then, finally forgot my old logins info. So I had to make a new account when I started to working full time and got on here more.

In 2007 I had just picked up hunting again after close to a 20 year break. Hit the internet to find information on deer and hunting in TN.
