Thanks everybody. I appreciate the help. Ultimately, it'll come down to what my clients' input is. However, I like the sound of C&W....I'm going to look into the Log Cabin, too. But right now, I'm leaning towards Mexican. And since Tequila John's posts a menu online, I may try it. A place that offers corn tortillas with meat, cilantro & onion as a "taco" already scored points in my book.

Submarine Log Cabin Country & Western Pebble Island Marina has awesome food. My favorite around there if you are there when they're open.

:D I'm a huge Mexican snob these days.....is the place Tex Mex?
El Villarta is the same as El Porton in Memphis. I've eaten there a couple of times...eehhhh.
I had forgot about Log Cabin and Pebble Isle Marina...don't know their hours this time of year. During the summer when I'm up at my house on Birdsong, I take the boat over to Pebble Isle and eat breakfast on the weekend. Real good food.

That's what I was afraid of.
The guy ended up being pressed for time, so we went to a little diner just down the road from the DuPont plant exit. It had a steeple on it, and lunch was decent. I don't recall the name, but it had a white steeple on the roof.
Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll be up there more and more this spring, and will try for as many places as I can.
