No, that's not the scoop. That's called "THE WAY".

But after 3 years of doing that very thing, we're ready for a change. I'm going to smoke a brisket, Mrs. TAFKAP is making a Brussels sprout salad, and my friends coming over are bringing their own contributions.

Sounds good but I grill mine. I marinate mine in beer overnight. Then I sprinkle on a little Cavender's all purpose greek seasoning, garlic powder, and chili powder. I put a water bowl in the center of the grill and bank the charcoal around it. I sear the wings and then stack them over the water. This allows them to cook without burning the outside. I rotate them a couple of times all the while dousing them with Crystal hot sauce. Just about the time they're done (about 30 minutes) I place them back over the direct heat to crisp up the outside. Great!

I smoke them sometimes, instead of steaming them. They come out great that way, as well. Pop them in the oven to crisp the skin, then toss in your favorite sauce.

And Poser, if you still have any of that Walkerswood jerk sauce, it's a great wing toss, too.

Try steaming them first.....you'll be surprised how crispy the skin gets after they've been dried out. This recipe is awesome if you have a few hours to dedicate.

Lots of fridge space is needed, as well.

Not typically, for me.....cooking for a crowd capable of eating 200 hot wings, however, is where I'd agree.

I plan on picking up a few buckets from Whit's. Smoked wings are not a big thing up north but now I can't stop eating them.

Cooking some wings now, but if I had to do 200 I'd be headed to BWW.
