Picked up a Stoeger M2000 12 ga and never owned one ,what is everyone's opinion on these for a turkey gun? Are they reliable ? Pattern well? Expected range. Thanks ahead of time for input.

I can tell you all you want to know. I have tried chokes and ammo even have all the pattern pics if you wanna see them.

Overall a turkey killing machine. I've killed a small village of turkeys with mine with no issues and have done TONS of pattern testing with it.

I absolutely love mine isn't my primary gun but I use it quite a lot. I shoot a jelly head with magnum blend out of it great patterns at 50 yards and in. going to pick up a hevi shot to see whatll do with it.

You can still find them around 400 new if you look hard. I use mine only for turkey now and added a 3500 for everything else but I shot a lot of ducks with it prior to the 3500 addition.

Ren, if its no trouble could you send me those pics and ammo/choke combo I would appreciate. I actually bought the Stoeger and picked it up for 250.00 which I thought was good price.I have used a 870 for a while and don't have problems with that set-up but wanted something different to play with. My email is dmonty210@yahoo.com. Again thanks. Dewey

Is the M2000 adjustable for cast? I know the M3500 is. I'm thinking about replacing my A400 Xtreme with one.

Oh, ok. Really don't want a 3.5 chamber so I might look into the M3000.
