My son is in Marines and has been participating in drills such as this for last six months. Also some drills are with other countries military. Some scary stuff right there not even telling local city governments what they were doing

I will say one thing, it is every Marines job to disobey unlawful orders under the UCMJ. I WILL NOT DEBATE THIS. There are many Marine, Army, Navy, Air Force VETRANS that know this.
So help them God if they shoot on Americans.

But how many others will just obey orders?
I have serious doubts about the integrity/intelligence of the average serviceman these days. Aside from rural youth which were probably well reared, most of them will just "do their job" as they often say.

There are so many interpretations of these training operations. Who knows?
1. Some have been quick to point out that these operations have all taken place in the South, implying that Southerners will resist a coming martial law.
2. Is there intel to suggest a ground attack on a major city? (unlikely)
3. Just getting the media and citizens used to the "new normal"?
... the list goes on. It does seem highly unusual especially since the military has facilities specifically for this purpose.
