I hunted that county for years and have never seen one or heard of one like the picture before. I do know that county had in the past been listed as most populated in deer. Havent hunted that county in years now being I now live in Mid TN But do have a a real nice buck mounted i shot in Hornsby TN.

I made a mistake but you can't edit the title of a posting. This was a Fayette County buck. It's size makes it look fake to me but the guy that I got the pic from swears it came from Fayette County this past season not far from where I spent alot of time hunting. I can't swear to it but I don't think he's the type to photoshop a pic. From what he said most of the 800 or so acre farm is in pasture surrounded by timber.

Helluva buck with incredible mass, but I would like to hear the story and see more than one pic. The fact that the name of the photograph is "HardemanDeer_zps08db016d.png" seems weird to me as well. Regardless, if it was killed fair chase it is a bruiser for anywhere in the country. Thanks for sharing Mike.

Hmmmmm...and the plot thickens. I did hear of several really good ones that came out of Hardeman this year but nothing of this dude's caliber. Will ask around though; super deer for sure.

That's all the story I was able to get. I know it's possible for a buck of that caliber to be killed and kept silent but unlikely...and that's an exceptional buck even for the big buck states let alone Tn. If I find out more I'll post. Still a monstor buck.
