Egads, DaveB! Likely never get the chance to fish there this side of Heaven.
Fished McCutcheon Creek, one of those little spots that's just a little bit deeper 100 yard stretch of stream that supports nothing much besides a couple sunfish and minners.

Uh, I wasn't going to say anything - but your dinner has a tail on it...
Oh, and Forrest always said the only way you could catch a trout was if the stocking truck was there and you had your net under as they dropped!

Oh, and Forrest always said the only way you could catch a trout was if the stocking truck was there and you had your net under as they dropped!
Just because he taught me his secret technique doesn't mean I took to it. And even then, he only used the net as a last resort. Generally, he'd follow the stocking truck until they made a gas stop, then discreetly make a withdrawal before the vehicle even made it to the banks!
