Now that the days are getting a little longer time to shoot some.
I'm looking for a bow target that will hold up to alot of shots using field tips. I've been looking at the Block Black any suggestions on a durable target. Thanks for any info.

Get a blob target! It is slightly more than the block, but it will stand up to several years of shooting--unlike the block which you'll only get a year or so and it will hold up to broadheads as well.

If your only shooting field points and don't have much extra cash a Morrell bag target will last a pretty good while. It will last longer if you don't leave it outside all the time. I would stay away from the Black Hole targets. I have had 2 of them and you'll be shooting thru them in a month or two if you shoot much at all. I haven't tried the blob targets yet but have heard they outlast anything else out there. Plus there made out of recycled material and you can shoot broad heads in it. The Blob will probably be my next target.

BLOB! Nothing else compares.Years and years and many many thousands of field points and broadheads. The back side looks new.Not a single penetration.

Its not moveable.Mine weights way over 100 lbs.

If your shooting field points only and don't have much extra cash just make your own . Get a box "as big as you want your target to be " and layer it with clothes . Pack them in as tight as you can and tape it shut . And then use paper or whatever you like on the outside of the box to draw your own targets . Will take 100's of shots and The easiest arrow removal I've ever had . Also it will almost never wear out , you might have to switch boxes every once in a while but the clothes you can just refold .

I watched a video on the blob they look like a great target. I went to the web site and they have pictures and videos of the targets. That is the kind of abuse I'm talking about. Thanks for the info.

The best I've found is also the cheapest. It is the Rag Bag sold by Third Hand Archery. It is a very heavy duty "feed sack" type of bag that you stuff with rags, old quilting, etc. It is very UV resistant and very self sealing. It hook/loop closes at the top. It has target spots on both sides of the bag. Shoot for a while on one side, and then switch it around. It is easy to hand with metal T posts, a couple of D rings and some cable ties. I have them outside year-round in my yard and they last multiple years. Arrows are easily removable with one hand.

The last one I bought was around $13. They are the most bang for your buck that I have found.
