I got one more week until my divorce is final. Then do the deed transfer to get her name off the house, and then im refinancing.

Hang in there...gets better. Unfortunately, my mortgage lady called me tonight and said the rates are going up tomorrow and that she would lock me in...hopefully not too much Rem

Ryan did our refinance last month. Thumbs up to him on getting us through with some difficulties due to new flood regs. Cut 10 years off our note and kept the same payment. Saving us close to $100,000 in interest. Thanks Ryan!!

Closed in December at 2.875. Went from 28.5 yrs to 15 yrs and only went up slightly on the payment. We got the best interest rate that we could get when we closed on our new house in early 2011 at 4.875. The numbers showed that we would be crazy not refinance and cut the yrs off. Happy, Happy, Happy is all that I can say!

Any time the going rate of interest is lower than what you currently have you ought to look into refinancing; especially if you have a long term left on your mortgage. I refinanced after only 1 year on my 30 year loan. I had to add a little boot to it but I kept the same note and dropped 15 years off my mortgage. That move saved me about $258,000 in interest and enabled me to pay my house off early.
