The BSF hunt is tough. Not alot of hogs and alot of land.Be prepared to cover alot of ground and see alot of hog sign, but not see any hogs..Thats usually the way it goes up there.I used to hunt it every year for hogs, but its not worth the effort. Yes its a rough hunt. if you see a lot of sign somethings making them just gotta be there when the time is right. if you have a 4 wheeler you can cover a lot of ground

Im with mike,Im not aware of any ATV trails on BSF.I know there are a few multi use trails, which are nothing more than gravel roads.

Hogs are there. Get in the woods early....very early. Be setup on creek bottoms or mouths by sunrise. Best chance to see a hog. I have seen a few and shot 1 there in the last 2 years.
I was just there 3 weeks ago and I am going back hunting/camping in 2 weeks.

Don't over look any clear cuts ether. Sounds strange for hogs but we've killed 10 in the last 3 saturdays that all came out of gullys in clearcuts and thickets. I know you can't have dogs there but a good drive will work too

Hog hunts are illegal in TN. Unless you are one of the chosen, pre-approved, exemptions. The TWRA believes that killing hogs causes them to increase if it is done by the 170,000 people who pay the highest resident license fees in the United States. Killing them will only help if it is done by TWRA employees who are paid by those license fees. They admitted to spending $304,000 on hog traps, trailers to haul them, and game cameras to set at the traps in January 2012 but refused to admit how much they spent on man hours/labor.
"Would like to keep my money in Tn." Why? They obviously don't want hog hunters in their state.
