Heres my build so far. It is a Bulgarian AK74 with a 80% Polish reciever, American made chrome lined barrel and American trigger group. So far I am a little over $500 and it should not run another $50 to finish. If you have some skills and do a lot of research the receiver is not hard to finish and I have found it very enjoyable plus I get the benefit of doing it myself.

I have a old Romanian AK that I am wanting to sell to buy another AR. The AK is reliable but the were never built for accuracy. I would rather have the ar but Im not in any big hurry either way. Every AK I have ever shot, on this side of the pond or the other, has always went bang when I pulled the trigger even when covered in mud, sand, or just plain burried for years under hay. AK's are amazing weapons but I do not know anything about particular brands..
