Are you going to have a cut-off on when the member registration is? In other words, if folks that are planning on attending get their spouse to register on the site, are they now eligible for 2 tickets? Is there any desire to stop that, or do you/we care? I don't really have an opinion, just thinking out loud. I wonder if you'll get a run of site registration requests now... 
Actually no we will not have a cut off date. It would be almost impossible to enforce anyway.
We approve anywhere from 3 to 10 new registrations every day of the year.
We have seen no real increase since posting this. We haven't even posted about it on the home page so most of the people that know about the gun giveaway are either active in the talk forum or a lurker.
Sign-in and registration for the gun give away is from 8:00 till 9:00 on Saturday morning.
We are not sure exactly when the drawing will be but you must be present to win so odds are, whoever wins this gun will be there all day, as most will be anyway.
If John Doe comes to the vous and he brings Mrs. Doe with him they both get a ticket.
One ticket per member, 18 and over.
If Mrs. Doe's ticket is drawn and she is in the room, she wins. If she is not there, she does not win. Mr. Doe CANNOT accept the prize for her.
