My moultrie M-80 only last about 9 months and I sent it back to them to get fixed.

I had the Epic and it was the sorriest piece of crap I ever spent money on. I took it back for a refund. I wanted to use it as a hat cam for my metal detecting videos...it had several flaws.

1. It had no laser or viewing screen to know which way it was actually pointing...it was a guessing game.

2. If it was overcast and or anything but a sunny bluebird day at high noon...the video was dark and grainy.

3. The buttons on it were stupid and sluggish...you had no way of knowing whether it was recording or not. I went a whole hunt in a civil war site thinking I was recording my digs...but I was actually hitting the record button when I was thinking I was hitting the button to STOP recording.

GoPro is the way to go. Videos on it look awesome and it's just an itsy bitsy camera.

Get you a Sony handy-cam off eBay for about $150.
