I'm wanting to try some Venison poppers for this Sunday's Super Bowl party. The recipes I've seen on here is based on grilling, and I will not have that option this time. What if I fry the cubes, then wrap them in fully cooked, but not hard, bacon and placed them in the oven for the cheese to melt over them? Or maybe I could???? Thanks for your suggestions. \:\)

Pan sear them in olive oil on high heat for no more than 30 seconds on each side. Then do what you mentioned above.

Extra sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, cream cheese, pepper jack, cream cheese....the possibilities are endless. But I would lean towards the gouda.
