What are your guys thoughts on these guns? I'm in the market for one and I don't know the pros and cons of the two? I know the 10 ga will kick like a mule but what about patterns of the two?
Anyone got one for sale?

The 10 actually kicks less than the twelve because it is heavier. The 12 actually i think loosened my teeth.

I have one in 3.5 12 gauge but it's not for sale. In my opinion, it's the best gun I've ever used for turkeys because it's so easy to hold steady. I shoot 2 3/4 shells in mine, anything more is just too much recoil. It's all I've used for the past 4 springs. After the first season with it, my SBE became my loaner gun.

You couldn't pay me enough to carry around a big heavy 10 bore all turkey season. Especially as good as many 12 gauges pattern these days, I could never justify buying shells for, and lugging a 10.

10 gauge is just too much gun. I aint never shot one though. I used an Ithaca Turkey Slayer 10 one time. It was like carrying a tank on my back.

I disagree, i love my Browning bps 10 ga. And it slings one hellacious pattern with federal heavyweight #7s.
Its heavier but not bad, i dont mind toting it

Shells are no higher for a 10 gauge than a 12 by the way
