For Eley?? Nope, that's close to the price was before all this started. Now count the shipping I used to pay when I ordered this online and this turns out to be cheaper per brick. The place I used to order from has been out a long time and they raised their prices. A brick is 10 boxes of 50 rounds making it 500 rounds.

Could you blame them? It would take me 40 years to shoot 8 bricks. Some people just buy them to keep other people from getting them.

Last year I shot 12 bricks between 2 rifles and 2 handguns. Go to the RimFire web site. Some of those guys go though 500 rounds a day easy. I still will never catch up to another TnDeer member on the amount he shoots his rimfires in a year, he's way ahead and above me in his shooting. So if YOU want to keep others from getting them that's YOUR business.
