. . . . . there are some custom reloads out there that will amaze you I agree. And sometimes even more amazing is hitting something with them when your target presents at 15 yards instead of 50!

30 inch circle at 60 yards, there are some custom reloads out there that will amaze you
No offense, but I would not be happy with a turkey pattern that only had 120ish pellets in a 30 inch circle. There would be way to many holes in the pattern. I'm sure at closer distances the pattern was much tighter, and would be great for hunting. With that few of pellets, you would be border line on the golden pellet theory. A common rule of thumb is, a pattern needs to have 100~ pellets in a ten inch circle to be most effective on a clean kill.
