This shotgun is truly 95~97%.. It was imported by TriStar - the year after the patent was purchased by Weatherby and the identical gun is now sold as a Weatherby SA-08.. Reviews I've read have been good.. The one thing I know weatherby changed was they went to 3 choke tubes where originally they came with 5 ...which this one I'm selling has included.. Sweeeeeeet gun - but we have Benelli's and just won't need this one. Gun also comes with a full set of stock shims.

i got to handle one of these at a DU banquet last fall. actually, i was asked to assemble all the guns they had for the night. the tri-star was impressive. it fit together very well and seemed balanced. i really wanted to shoot it but they wouldn't let me do that in the building.

i have no dog in this hunt but i wanted to pass along my $0.02 for a very nice gun.

kimber, good luck with your sale. you shouldn't have it long.
