Anyone have one? Looking at possibly getting one and was wanting some input on them. Thanks.

My Dad has one in 40. I like it, it shoots good, has good sights, and is very easy to conceal with a good holster. It is not a pocket gun, but I guess you could stick it in your pocket if you had to. I was all about getting a Kahr PM9 until I handled the Shield. The Shield is about $150 cheaper.

Trying to decide between it and the glock 26 both in 9mm. Only reason I am leaning toward the shield is its thinner and a bit lighter so it would be easier to conceal.

That's a tough decision. Glocks are my favorite guns... so it's tough for me to ever recommend anything else. I don't think you could go wrong with either gun.

However, if I could only have one carry gun... and it was the M&P Shield or the G26, I think I would lean towards the Shield. I really like that it's nearly a quarter inch thinner than the G26. Some claim that isn't enough to matter - but to me it is.

If you're interested in a .45, take a peek at the Springfield XD-S also.
