"I got very encouraging comments for my first diary about this plan and realized there are many others who think that insurance might help solve some part of the gun violence problem. I decided to write a new diary about the same issue."
My proposal to the gun control issue is:
1- Mandatory liability insurance on all firearms (not the owner but the firearm),
2- High taxes on ammo,
3- Banning ammo sales without proper insurance,
4- Buyback and/or tax rebate for surrendered guns.

What little freedom these idiots have left to enjoy (such as the freedom to post things on the internet) is due to the resistance of million of gun owners.

Yeah, insurance companies really make sure everybody driving on TN highways has insurance, they can't make sure they are American Citizens, mush less that they have insurance.

I'm in no way anti-gun. I have never purchased a concealed carry permit because Tennessee does not have the right to sell me my second amendment liberty. If I believe I need to carry a gun, I do it. The state will not put my rights up for purchase like a cheap haberdasher.
