Just wondering if anyone has been doing any post season scouting. I scouted and hung some cameras last weekend. Going to look at some new property tomorrow, probably just plot the roads out on my GPS. Then go back a few days and do some scouting. I might have my post season scouting list done by the end of February, if I'm lucky.

This afternoon I checked out a potential bow season spot on public land. Jumped a couple deer in the process. Thick understory looks good in there. I think I will hunt there come bow season.

Plotted 35 miles of ATV trails on my GPS on a new piece of property today. Alot of rough country, marked a few spots I am going to walk out in the next couple weeks.

Absolutely. Find and document as many bedding areas as you can on your property.

Ive marked a few trees to hunt next year and have been cutting alot of young beeches that were blocking my view in some places. Still need to move some stands to the spots Ive marked. Now is definitely the time.
