I agree with the majority here on this one - punish those who keep insisting on throwing comments that are unnecessary.
This is the way I look at it - as a potential buyer, if I find an item that I am interested in buying from an individual, then it is MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY AS THE BUYER to do my own research to see if I am willing to pay the price listed. If I feel the an item is overpriced, then I don't buy it - it's that simple...

For those that hate seeing high prices listed, do you react this way EVERYTIME you come upon a price that you don't like ? If milk goes up to $7 a gallon do you source the dairy farmer and kick him in the nads ? Or blatantly cuss the guy behind the counter at the gas n go when gas goes up a quarter overnight ? If you do then maybe you should seek therapy. I either pay it or search for a better deal. And as far as the integrity of the forum, I dont judge based on the classifieds section.

We can turn the classifieds off till all this political and buying frenzy is over.
Or, you can look at an ad with a gun for sale and you can see that it is 3X what you consider fair and then hit your "back" button and go on with your life.
It really doesn't matter either way.
Your choice.
I would much rather see an approach where those not following the rules suffered the consequences instead of all. It matters to me as I enjoy this section

Shutting down a "free market" is on the same line as banning guns.
This forum already a sticky at the top with the following rule:
"If you have issue with a price listed in an ad, take it to PM with the OP (Original Poster). DO NOT I repeat DO NOT complain about the price in the ad..... I will start deleting accounts shortly if this problem persists. Thank You."
If people would follow this everything would be civil.
