there's a difference if your gun can shoot 3.5" then id shoot them. ive had very similar results as ren. out of my Mossberg 835.

I like the 3 inch because If I get in a bind shooting at a gobbler there is less of a chance of breaking my nose or collar bone. I have witnessed both calling birds for friends shooting the 3.5s

About 50 pellets differnce in a remington in a 10 inch circle.

My Remington's are just 3 inch so I'm really interested in those loads thru and Invector Plus barrel.

I don't notice to much of a difference in recoil from 3 to 3.5 im a bigger dude so I am young idk if that makes a difference but a 3.5 inch load isn't that bad to shoot plus in a year even if you pattern it youll probably shooting it 6 or 7 times max that's if you tag out.

I do all my pattern shooting out of a lead sled and when shooting a longbeard I never feel the recoil, so it's 3.5 for me.

If I were going to limit myself to 45yds I would be shooting lead not Nitros.. To each their own.....:)
What do you shoot and where do you limit yourself?

Then let me go a step further. Has anyone patterned both shells thru and Invector Plus barrel and if so with what choke and what were the results of the patterns??
Never shot a 3" mag blend but heres a 3.5" [img] [/img]

I shoot 3" blend through my Browning BPS with the invector plus and a Indian Creek .665, patterns great.
