I have a nice thin coating of ice on everything here at the house in knoxville. I went out to see if it was ice or just wet. The first step told me to go back inside and forget about going anywhere for awhile.

I'm lucky in that I only work a 4 day week. My wife drives 35 miles to work in west Knoxville. She didn't have any trouble but it is highway and interstate most of the way.

We have freezing rain here in Powell right now. I just went outside and checked the cars and they are coated pretty good with ice. They want my wife to come in today,but it will be after dark when she gets off and I told her it would probably be safer for her to stay home.

We was told to stay home today,to not even attempt to come it,and we don't even have to use a sick day to cover it,they are gonna pay us anyway..I like!
