I think I literally just purchased the last available .22 subsonic ammo available anywhere online. I like to have never found any. I think I searched for 30 minutes, if not longer.
I recently orderd a Tactical Innovations Tac65 suppressor for my Ruger 10/22, so I am looking forward to trying it out with the subsonic ammo. It is also getting hard to even find a Ruger 10/22.

Suppressed 10/22 is my favorite squirrel gun. Ive been using remington subsonic ammo for years even though its not the most accurate subsonic ammo on the market. I can shoot 1" groups out to about 65 yards with it, but farther than that the inconsistencies in the ammo start to open the groups up. I have a threaded barrel from Tactical Innovations which is okay, but the twist rate is for regular .22 ammo and not designed to stabilize subsonic ammo. I also have a barrel from Gem-Tec which is designed to stabilize subsonic and it is MUCH more accurate with subsonic. Im leaving in a couple of hours to squirrel hunt with that 10/22. When you get yours you will love it.

Not a big fan of it. I've had a round hit a tree trunk and zing right back at me while squirrel hunting.

I ordered both the remington and CCI subsonic, but there is no more to be found anywhere online. The subsonic ammo is quieter than a BB gun in a suppressed Ruger 10-22. I also bolt buffer for my 10-22 that has a rubber lining around it, so it should be even more quieter.
I can't think of a better survival gun than a suppressed .22 for shooting small-medium size game in a survival type situation. I imagine it would even kill a deer if the shot was placed in just the right spot.

I'm a big fan of Winchester Super-X 40gr Truncated Cone Hollow Points. Very reliable, very accurate out to out to 150yds.
I like Lapua Center-X for matches that I shoot.

Yes! They're just plain dangerous and will ricochet just like a BB gun

CCI Standard Velocity is my favorite. A little more powerful than the subs yet it stays subsonic too. The best of both worlds.
