I would add something greenish with it but not the fern. It looks dull and plain with out the fern but the fern you have with it is a little big for my likes. It almost seems that you are trying to hide something. X2 on the moss add a little here and there and maybe add a small fern or similar with that also but don't over do it.

It may be that you could secure a clump of moss by tucking it in between the rocks/log/mount. I refurbished the faux rock foam base on my coyote mount by securing moss into silicone caulking. You could do that, but you may want to minimize points of contact, I'm not sure.
