I know a guy that had put his deer in an overnight cooler at a processor and someone stole it out of the cooler, checked it in, told everyone he killed it, and then even took it to a local taxidermist to get mounted! Needless to say, the guy that killed it had pictures of it and obviously every deer is unique and he was able to prove that it was his deer. The law was kept out of this one, but the 18 year old that stole it had to pay the mounting fee for the guy that killed it and do some work for the processor that he stole it from since it made them look bad too. Some people just don't think!
